Project Bronze Forever All 8 Roria Gym Badges
Puzzles, TMs, HMs, and obedience from Silvent's Arc Badge to Crescent's Haunted Badge.
Roria’s league is eight gyms. Each badge raises traded-Pokemon obedience, and five of them gate HMs you will need for later cities and for hunts. This page is the puzzle, TM, type, and unlock list. Leader portraits sit on gym leaders. Input and HM timing sit on controls. If you have not left Mitis yet, finish Getting Started and a starter first.
Bring the type chart. Several gyms are blocked until you clear Team Eclipse from the building next door. After three badges the game unlocks More Adventures and Randomizer. After eight badges, all Pokemon obey. Play the live copy from the official play page and confirm it on game status if a gym interior is empty.
How badges, HMs, and obedience line up
Gym 1 Arc — Cut, obey 30. Gym 4 Soaring — Fly. Gym 5 Crater — Rock Smash. Gym 6 Harvest — Rock Climb. Gym 7 Contrast — Surf. Gym 8 Haunted — all Pokemon obey.
Codes usually come online with gym 1, when Jake gives the RTD and RO-Powers appears. Redeem working codes with how to redeem before you spend hours in Mt. Igneus. Save inside Options before each puzzle; leave autosave on for gyms, off later for legendary birds and the Regi trio.
1. Silvent City — Chad (Electric, Arc Badge)
Type: Electric. Puzzle: nightclub dance-pad. TM57 Charge Beam. Cut unlocks. Traded Pokemon obey up to level 30. Jake gives the RTD when you leave. Grass starters from the lab list are comfortable here; Ground coverage from Route 1 catches also helps. This is the first gym you can legally challenge after Cheshma and Gale Forest. Do not skip it hoping to redeem codes in Mitis — RO-Powers is not on that HUD yet.
2. Brimber City — Sebastian (Fire, Brimstone Badge)
Type: Fire. The gym is inside Mt. Igneus and uses lava hops. Team Eclipse must be cleared from the area before the leader is available; if the door is blocked, you are still in an Eclipse scene, not a broken gym. TM50 Overheat. Water STAB from a Squirtle-line, Mudkip-line, or a Route catch is the simple plan. Rock Smash is not required yet.
3. Rosecove City — Quentin (Water, Float Badge)
Type: Water. Clear Eclipse from the lighthouse before the gym will play out. Puzzle: pipes. TM55 Scald. Grass or Electric coverage is the straightforward answer. Beating Quentin is the three-badge mark: More Adventures and Randomizer unlock here. Fly is still locked until gym 4, so you are still walking or using whatever the RTD allows.
4. Anthian City — Stephen (Flying, Soaring Badge)
Type: Flying. Hangar gym. You fetch three tools as the puzzle. TM40 Aerial Ace. Fly unlocks after this badge, which is the travel tool you need for Port Decca on the bird hunt. Electric, Rock, or Ice coverage beats Flying; the type chart is enough, you do not need a new starter.
5. Aredia City — Prince Ryan (Ground, Crater Badge)
Type: Ground. Palace and ruins. He mega evolves his last Pokemon. TM78 Bulldoze. Rock Smash unlocks. You also receive the King’s Red Jewel as part of this gym’s story payoff. Water, Grass, and Ice are the usual Ground answers. Rock Smash is mandatory later for a wall in Frostveil Catacombs; do not delay this badge if you are already routing Regis.
6. Fluoruma City — Fissy (Grass, Harvest Badge)
Type: Grass. Greenhouse fruit-weight puzzle. This is the first full battle in the league in the sense the walkthrough treats it: a complete trainer match with a mega, not a shortened intro fight. TM22 Solar Beam. Rock Climb unlocks. Fire, Flying, Poison, Bug, or Ice coverage all work; pick what you actually caught. Rock Climb beside Frostveil’s Pokemon Centre is the catacombs drop, so Harvest is another Regi prerequisite.
7. Frostveil City — Zeek (Dark, Contrast Badge)
Type: Dark — not Ice. The gym is a 2D platformer. TM97 Dark Pulse. Surf unlocks. Fighting, Fairy, and Bug are the type answers. You cannot reach gym 8 without Surf, and you cannot finish the wrecked-ship layout on Crescent without it either. If you came to Frostveil looking for an Ice gym, you are in the right city and the wrong assumption; Zeek is Dark.
8. Crescent Island — Captain B. (Ghost, Haunted Badge)
Type: Ghost. Wrecked ship. Requires Surf from gym 7. After this badge, all Pokemon obey, including high-level trades. That is the obedience cap for the league. Ghost is hit by Dark, Ghost, and (depending on the species) other coverage you already use on Zeek. Do not sail to Crescent expecting a gym 8 skip; the ship is gated on Contrast.
Eclipse scenes, not types, are what actually stop people at Brimber and Rosecove. If a leader is missing, finish the local Team Eclipse step, then come back. After the league, keep the same save habits for Volcanion, Rotom, Victini, and Eeveelutions. Gym 4 Fly and gym 7 Surf are the two HMs the bird yacht and water fishing routes care about; gym 5 and 6 are the two the catacombs care about. Badge hunting is not a side activity in this game — it is the key ring.
