Project Bronze Forever Ash Greninja in Anthian

Ash Greninja is a Water/Dark purchase in Anthian Shopping District, not a wild catch and not a lab starter. You fly to Anthian City, walk from the entertainment district into the shopping district, take the alley to the right immediately before Lucky Lotto, and talk to the hidden man in a suit at the end of that alley. He offers to sell a rare Pokemon. Buy it. You now have Ash Greninja. To transform in battle, knock out an opposing Pokemon. That is Battle Bond. It is not Protean, and it is not a Mega Stone.

Fly to Anthian, then walk the districts

You need Fly. Stephen in Anthian is the Flying-type gym leader and awards the Soaring Badge, which unlocks HM Fly. If you cannot Fly yet, you are not missing a hidden man — you are missing gym 4. Finish Getting Started, a starter, and the gym walkthrough through Stephen. Controls is the HM list.

Fly to Anthian City. Make your way from the entertainment district to the shopping district. This is the same shopping district that holds the Poke Ball Emporium you use for Dusk Balls on Heatran and Volcanion. Lucky Lotto is the landmark. The alley is to the right, right before that lotto shop. Walk to the end. The man in the suit is easy to miss if you stop at the lotto door.

Clear a party slot before you buy. A full party is how gift and shop Pokemon fail silently. This is not a PC-mail delivery. Talk, accept, purchase. If he has no shop line, you are in the wrong alley, on the wrong copy, or the listing is temporarily off. Do not wander Fortulose Manor looking for him. That building is Rotom.

Codes do not give Ash Greninja. Redeem them with how to redeem for other rewards. Expired strings are in the expired archive. Team Eclipse does not sell this Pokemon. The airship raid is a different Anthian scene.

HOW to Get ASH GRENINJA in Pokemon Brick Bronze

Battle Bond in battle

Ash Greninja enters battle as Greninja. Knock out an opposing Pokemon. Battle Bond triggers the Bond Phenomenon transformation into Ash-Greninja for the rest of that battle. You do not click a Mega button. You do not hold Sablenite. You do not spend a Z-Crystal from the Z-Crystals hunt or the Ice, Bug, and Dragon crystals. KO something. Transform.

If you switch out, follow whatever the live copy does — the official short only promises the KO trigger. Do not assume a second transformation after a recall unless you have seen it. The first KO is the instruction this wiki will repeat.

False Swipe is the wrong plan if you needed a KO to transform. Lead a Pokemon that can actually finish a weak wild, then send Greninja to take the next KO, or let Greninja take the KO itself. Trainer battles and wilds both count as opposing Pokemon. Do not point auto-catch at this purchase; there is nothing to catch. Read script safety if you use client tools at all.

Water/Dark, not the Kalos lab frog

Ash Greninja is Water/Dark. That pairing is weak to Electric, Grass, Fighting, Bug, and Fairy. It hits Water, Fire, Ground, Rock, Psychic, and Ghost for super-effective damage depending on the move. Read the type chart before you lead it into Chad’s Electric gym (you already beat Chad to reach Anthian) or into Zeek’s Dark gym (Dark resists Dark; Fighting and Fairy are the Dark answers, not Water/Dark). Captain B. is Ghost; Dark STAB is the point.

This is not the Kalos starter Froakie in Cypress’s lab. The starter guide and the starter tier list cover lab Froakie, Frogadier, and a normal Greninja with Protean if that ability is on the lab line. Lab Greninja does not become Ash-Greninja by leveling. Ash Greninja does not become a lab Froakie by depositing. Buy the suited man’s Pokemon if you want Battle Bond. Pick Froakie in Mitis if you want a Water starter for Sebastian.

Do not mix this alley with Eeveelutions, Haunter and Gengar, or Mimikyu. Those are evolution, trade, and event hunts. This is a shop NPC.

What the man is not

He is not a code NPC. He is not the Lucky Lotto clerk. He is not the Poke Ball Emporium clerk. He is not a legendary birds pirate and not the Port Decca yacht captain. If a YouTube thumbnail shows a grass patch, you are watching the wrong species.

Prices may vary. The official short says purchase. Bring whatever currency the live dialogue asks for. Do not invent a Poke dollar amount from another copy and then complain the man wants something else. If the price is more than you will pay, walk away. The file does not require Ash Greninja to beat eight gyms.

Confirm the live copy before you spend. A suited man on a dead place does not refund you after a re-upload. Join through the play page, then walk the alley again.

After the purchase

Nickname it so you can see Battle Bond in the summary. Put it on the tier list team you actually use, not on a box of HM slaves. Water/Dark is a special attacker with a transform condition; it is not Heatran’s Fire/Steel wall and not Ho-Oh’s Fire/Flying legendary. You did not spend a one-chance static. You spent a shop interaction. You can still hunt Volcanion and Victini on the same file.
