Project Bronze Forever Roria Gym Leaders
Electric through Ghost — puzzles, badges, HMs, and the people who refuse to be generic specialists.
Roria’s League is eight gyms. Types go Electric, Fire, Water, Flying, Ground, Grass, Dark, Ghost. That order is why the starter tier list exists and why Frostveil wrecks people who packed Ice Beam for a snow city. This page is the people: names, badges, puzzles, HMs, and the Roblox-creator homages. For step-by-step rooms, use the gym walkthrough. For coverage math, use the type chart. For who raids the towns between badges, use Team Eclipse.
| # | Leader | City | Type | Badge | Field unlock |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Chad | Silvent | Electric | Arc | Cut |
| 2 | Sebastian | Brimber | Fire | Brimstone | — |
| 3 | Quentin | Rosecove | Water | Float | — |
| 4 | Stephen | Anthian | Flying | Soaring | Fly |
| 5 | Prince Ryan | Aredia | Ground | Crater | Rock Smash |
| 6 | Fissy | Fluoruma | Grass | Harvest | Rock Climb |
| 7 | Zeek | Frostveil | Dark | Contrast | Surf |
| 8 | Captain B. | Crescent | Ghost | Haunted | — |
Each badge also raises the obedience cap on traded Pokemon by ten levels, up to no cap after the Haunted Badge. If you use Trade Resort, that number matters as much as STAB.
1. Chad — Silvent, Electric, Arc, Cut
Chad is a DJ who treats the gym like a club. You fight bouncers on the upper floor and cross dance pads without stepping the same tile twice. His studio battle is Electric, which deletes Water and Flying starters that skipped a Ground catch. Beat him for the Arc Badge, HM Cut, and TM Charge Beam. Codes usually want this badge too; redeem on the codes page after you leave the club.
Trivia: the nightclub presentation is a nod to Chad DJ on Roblox. It does not change Volt Switch.
2. Sebastian — Brimber, Fire, Brimstone
Sebastian’s gym is a lava parkour course inside Mt. Igneus. You meet him in town first: Team Eclipse already stole the Red Orb, so he will not battle until the raid plot moves. When the gym opens, Fire STAB plus Overheat as a TM reward punish Grass and Ice. Water and Ground are the honest answers. Magmar-sized special attackers will cook a Tepig or Litten you brought as a starter. That is why those lines sit in C on the starter tier.
Brimber also hides a happiness checker used later for friendship evolutions. See training.
3. Quentin — Rosecove, Water, Float
Quentin’s Water gym sits in a dock town with pipe puzzles while Eclipse occupies the lighthouse and beach. Grass and Electric make the battle short. Fire makes it long. Wailmer is a HP sponge; Gorebyss and Huntail hit hard. Float Badge, TM Scald. After this gym, Cypress talks like he barely knows Linda, which is your cue to stop trusting the professor. Rebuild the party using team comps before you fly anywhere — you do not have Fly yet.
4. Stephen — Anthian, Flying, Soaring, Fly
Stephen runs the capital airport. The gym is a hangar full of tools. He will not come out from under the jet until you collect the scattered tools and beat marshallers for lift access. Flying specialist, two Staraptor with Intimidate, Close Combat for Ice and Rock. Soaring Badge, HM Fly, TM Aerial Ace. This is the mid-game permission slip: your team comps should now include a flyer that can actually fight.
Trivia: the aviation theme homages Roblox flight games (Stephen / Crazyman32). Pack Rock or Electric, not a lecture on planes.
5. Prince Ryan — Aredia, Ground, Crater, Rock Smash
Ryan is a prince who would rather mine. You meet him in Aredia Ruins yelling at Eclipse grunts who stole a jewel from the king’s statue. The gym is a mine-palace. Ground STAB, Mega Evolution on the last Pokemon of the first challenge. Grass and Water are correct. Electric is a joke. Crater Badge, HM Rock Smash, TM Bulldoze. Jewels from this arc also gate legendary hunts later; do not skip ruin side rooms.
Trivia: mining and Ground nod at Dummiez / The Quarry. Useful only if you like knowing why the gym looks like a dig site.
6. Fissy — Fluoruma, Grass, Harvest, Rock Climb
Fluoruma is an underground city with a greenhouse gym. The puzzle is giant fruit into a central basket plus scrap wood bridges so the drawbridge to Fissy rises. He is the first leader you fight as a full battle, and the last slot Mega Evolves. Fire, Flying, Ice. Harvest Badge, HM Rock Climb (Gerald hands the HM as you leave), TM Solar Beam.
Trivia: Fissy’s garden theming points at Treelands / Adopt Me. Tess and Uncle Gerald appear after this gym; see rivals.
7. Zeek — Frostveil, Dark, Contrast, Surf
Snow city. Not an Ice gym. Zeek’s puzzle is a 2D platformer in the style of Contrast, silhouettes included. Dark specialists above level 70. Fighting, Fairy, Bug. Ice coverage is a side plan for dual types, not the headline. Contrast Badge, HM Surf, TM Dark Pulse. Surf is required to reach Captain B., so this badge is a travel key as much as a type gate.
Trivia: Zeek / Contrast is the most literal homage in the League. If you trained a full Ice team because of the weather, the type chart will hurt.
8. Captain B. — Crescent, Ghost, Haunted
A pirate captain on a ship that was sunk by an Octillery. Ghost gym. Surf required to arrive. Her Pokemon hold competitive items: Gengar’s Focus Sash, Life Orb on attackers, Leftovers on Spiritomb, Weakness Policy on Aegislash. Levels sit in the low 80s. Dark and Ghost hit Ghost. Normal and Fighting do not. Haunted Badge, TM Shadow Claw. After this, Victory Road and the League, plus rebattles when you rejoin a copy.
Trivia: Captain B. / Beeism. Friendly pirate energy, unfriendly item set.
Leaders are also your late EXP. Rebattle them after a rejoin if Schoolgirl Joy is not unlocked yet. Pair this page with getting started on a new save, the starter guide if you have not left Mitis, and Team Eclipse whenever a gym town is on fire. Confirm the live place on game status and Discord before you Fly to a gym that is not loaded. Birds and titans are not gym rewards; hunt them after badges using legendary birds and Regis.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers trainers actually search for.
What type is each Roria gym?
Electric, Fire, Water, Flying, Ground, Grass, Dark, Ghost — in that order. Frostveil is Dark, not Ice. Crescent is Ghost and needs Surf.
Which badges unlock HMs?
Arc unlocks Cut, Soaring unlocks Fly, Crater unlocks Rock Smash, Harvest unlocks Rock Climb, Contrast unlocks Surf. Captain B. does not hand a new HM.
Who Mega Evolves first?
Prince Ryan Mega Evolves the last slot of the initial gym fight. Fissy is the first full-battle leader and also Mega Evolves. Captain B. uses held items instead of being the first Mega.
Why does Anthian Gym ask for tools?
Stephen is under a jet in a hangar. You collect scattered tools and beat marshallers to use the lift. Then he fights as a Flying specialist. See the gym walkthrough.
Are the leaders based on Roblox creators?
Several are homages: Chad DJ, Stephen's aviation games, Fissy's Treelands/Adopt Me, Zeek's Contrast, Captain B./Beeism, Ryan's mining. Matchups still follow types.
