Project Bronze Forever Ho-Oh after the Rainbow Wing
Cragonos Sanctuary, three roaming beasts, the Rainbow Wing key item, and a one-chance Fire/Flying legendary.
Ho-Oh is the Fire/Flying legendary you meet after the three beasts leave Cragonos Sanctuary. You do not buy a Port Decca bird ticket for it. You climb Cragonos Peak with HM8 Rock Climb, walk into the sanctuary at the highest point, scare Raikou, Entei, and Suicune into the wild, catch all three, obtain the Rainbow Wing key item, then take the Ho-Oh encounter shown in the official video. One chance for Ho-Oh. Save. Autosave off.
This page follows two official clips: the Entei / sanctuary short for the beast release, and the updated Ho-Oh video embedded mid-article for the Rainbow Wing NPC and the Ho-Oh room. Watch that mid-article video for those two beats. This wiki will not invent a construction site, a six-floor tower from another Brick Bronze copy, or a Clear Bell the clip does not show. Other Roblox Pokemon games reused Ho-Oh with different rooms. Project Bronze Forever is this revival. Play it from the official play page.
Treat Ho-Oh like Heatran and Volcanion, not like breeding Eeveelutions. If Ho-Oh faints, that save file does not get another. The beasts roam after they bolt; Ho-Oh does not.
Cragonos Peak, Rock Climb, and the sanctuary
Rock Climb is locked until gym 6. Fissy in Fluoruma awards the Harvest Badge and HM8. If walls will not climb, finish the gym walkthrough through Fissy first. Put the HM on a party Pokemon. Fly from gym 4 (Stephen, Soaring Badge) is how you reach Anthian and the Cragonos climb without walking the mines again. Controls lists the HM order.
Go to Cragonos Peak, the mountain above the cliffs between Rosecove and Anthian. The official Entei short is the camera: two Rock Climb walls, then a cave into Cragonos Sanctuary at the highest point. That sanctuary is where the legendary beasts live. There is no wild grass in the sanctuary itself. Heal before you climb. Pack balls before you climb. You will not find a Poke Ball Emporium on the peak.
If you are still in Mitis, stop and finish Getting Started and a starter. Cragonos is mid-game geography. Codes after gym 1 can restock cash for balls via how to redeem. They do not drop a Rainbow Wing.
Release the beasts, then catch them in the wild
Walk to the back of Cragonos Sanctuary. The trio is there. Approaching them triggers a roar and a bolt: Raikou, Entei, and Suicune flee down the mountain. A message tells you they now roam in the wild. That is the hunt gate. If you never walked to the back, they are still statues in a cutscene you have not started.
After they flee, they are wild roamers, not Port Decca island statics. Hunt them in grass and water you can already reach. Raikou is Electric. Entei is Fire. Suicune is Water. Read the type chart before you lead a Water starter into Entei or a Ground core into Raikou. Save before each encounter. Turn autosave off if you cannot afford a faint. Roamers can flee the battle; that is not the same as Ho-Oh’s one-chance room, but a KO still hurts the clock.
You need all three in the box or the party before the Rainbow Wing NPC will help. Caught on a trade, borrowed from a friend, or sitting in the PC still counts as owned if the live copy checks the account the way the video shows — follow the clip if an NPC refuses you. Do not mix these three with Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. Those legendary birds use Deep Sea Scales and Port Decca tickets to Frigidia, Voltridia, and Obsidia. Different tickets, different islands, different birds.
This is also not the Regi trio in Frostveil Catacombs, not Victini in Aredia Ruins, and not Rotom in Fortulose Manor. Team Eclipse does not drop Entei.
Rainbow Wing, then Ho-Oh
After all three beasts are caught, obtain the Rainbow Wing key item as shown in the official Ho-Oh video. Then take the Ho-Oh encounter that video shows. The mid-article clip is the NPC, the room, and the click. Pause this page and watch it. If you skip the wing, Ho-Oh does not appear. If you skip the video and guess a construction site from Bronze Legacy or a Tin Bell Tower from an older copy, you will walk the wrong map.
Confirm the live place on game status and Discord when copies move. A Rainbow Wing NPC on a dead place does not migrate. Progress is designed to persist across re-uploads; the room layout still has to exist on the copy you joined.
Before you click Ho-Oh, save. Turn autosave off. Pack Dusk Balls, Timer Balls, and Ultra Balls as the fight needs. Fire/Flying likes the dark-room modifier if the encounter is indoors and likes Timer Balls if it stalls. Quick Balls on turn one are optional. Do not point auto-catch at this click; read script safety first.
Fire/Flying and the catch
Ho-Oh is Fire/Flying. That pairing is 4x weak to Rock and 2x weak to Water and Electric. It resists Fairy, Fighting, Bug, Grass, and Steel in the usual ways; check the type chart instead of guessing. False Swipe or a chip move on the lead. Status that does not KO is allowed. A Rock slide from a panicked gym sweeper is how people lose the file.
One chance. If the battle ends without a catch, leave without saving only if autosave was already off. Then rejoin. If autosave was on, that file is done.
Ho-Oh is not Moltres. Moltres is the Obsidia ticket bird. Ho-Oh is the Rainbow Wing legendary after the beasts. Do not sail from Port Decca looking for a fourth bird island. Do not look for Ho-Oh in Igneus Depths next to Heatran or in Brimber’s Steam Chamber next to Volcanion.
After the wing
Turn autosave back on in a Pokemon Centre. Fire/Flying is a special attacker and a Sacred Fire / Recover wall depending on the set you actually caught. Rock still ends it. Pair it with a Water answer from Eeveelutions or Wash Rotom so Electric and Rock do not end the Colosseum fight in one hit. The tier list will rank it later. Catching it is the work.
Watch event updates for shiny or rerun rumors. There is no weekly Ho-Oh raid in this revival. Eight gyms, one sanctuary, three roamers, one Rainbow Wing, one Ho-Oh.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers trainers actually search for.
How do I start the legendary beasts hunt?
Take HM8 Rock Climb to Cragonos Peak, climb two walls into Cragonos Sanctuary, and walk to the back. Raikou, Entei, and Suicune roar and bolt, then roam in the wild.
Is Ho-Oh the same as the legendary birds?
No. Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres use Port Decca tickets on the legendary birds page. Ho-Oh needs all three beasts plus the Rainbow Wing.
Where is the Rainbow Wing?
Catch all three beasts first, then follow the mid-article official Ho-Oh video for the Rainbow Wing NPC and the Ho-Oh room. Do not invent a construction site from another copy.
Can I fight Ho-Oh again if it faints?
No. Ho-Oh is one chance. Save, turn autosave off, and pack Dusk, Timer, or Ultra Balls. The beasts roam; Ho-Oh does not.
What type is Ho-Oh?
Fire/Flying. Rock is 4x. Water and Electric are 2x. Read the type chart before you pick a False Swipe lead.
