Project Bronze Forever Team Eclipse
From Linda in Gale Forest to Cypress in Demon's Tomb — the org that kidnapped your parents for a Bronze Brick.
Team Eclipse is the villain org in Project Bronze Forever. They believe people and Pokemon are not in harmony, which is the slogan they use while kidnapping your parents, stealing orbs, and assembling a portal for Hoopa. You fight grunts in every gym town. You fight named members on a schedule. This page is that schedule: Linda, the raids, the Anthian airship, the Eclipse Base Gene Lab, and Boss Cypress. Pair it with gym leaders so you know which badge sits between which raid, and with rivals so Jake and Tess’s appearances make sense.
Turn autosave off before any set encounter Eclipse gates. Genesect is one chance. Hoopa is one chance. The training page covers False Swipe and status. This page covers who is in the room.
Linda — Gale Forest
After the lab, your parents talk to Professor Cypress about something they found at an archaeology site. They give you the Bronze Brick necklace. Two grunts linger on the edge of Mitis Town. Cypress then tells you the parents are gone and that you should find his friend Linda in a blue-roof house in Cheshma Town.
Linda walks you toward Gale Forest, then corners you at a dead end. She is Eclipse. She stole the brick. Her team is Poochyena (Dark) and Pancham (Fighting). Early Fighting and Dark are awkward if you only have a starter, but the levels are tutorial-sized. Win, take the brick back, and listen to the warning: they will return for it. Jake shows up after the fight and wonders if Cypress knows what Linda is. Cypress later calls her “a strange woman” outside Rosecove Gym, which is the tell.
Linda does not need a second essay. She is the mask. Cypress is the face.
Grunts, orbs, jewels, and the airship
Eclipse is in the background of almost every badge:
- Brimber: they steal the Red Orb from Sebastian’s care. The Fire gym stays closed until that plot beat moves. Lava parkour is not the only reason gym 2 feels long.
- Rosecove: they occupy the lighthouse and beach while Quentin’s pipe gym sits inland. You clean the shore; the leader does not leave the docks to help.
- Aredia: grunts take a jewel from the king’s statue. Prince Ryan confronts them in the ruins before you even see his mine gym. Those jewels later matter for legendary gates.
- Anthian Park: the airship raid. Explosives. Jake is captured. Tess is with you. Cypress drops the professor act and admits he is Eclipse Boss. The Bronze Brick glows. Dialga and Palkia intervene so the city is not a crater. This is the mid-game boss, not the final one.
Admins you will see on that road include Harry, Gabe, and Tyler. Treat them as full-team speed bumps with Dark, Poison, and Electric mixes. The type chart is enough; their job is to stall you while the airship plot happens.
Eclipse Base — power plant and Gene Lab
Crescent Town hides the headquarters. After Frostveil you have Surf; after enough story flags you can enter the base through a disguised lift (a juice keg in Tanner’s Tavern is the classic tell). Inside is a power plant of grunts, security doors, and one storage closet that is not a closet.
Genesect route, in order:
- Fight through the plant until you meet Eclipse Grunt Hugh. Beat him so the security wing opens.
- Press the green security buttons so doors unlock across the base.
- Reach the boss office. Open the drawer. Take the Key Card. A familiar necklace sits next to it on purpose.
- Return to the locked door in the plant. That is the Gene Lab: tubing, hard drives, a dormant Bug/Steel mythical.
- Save. Autosave off. Interact. You get one battle.
Genesect is Bug/Steel. Net Balls from the Poke Ball Emporium are the correct ball, not a panic Ultra Ball. False Swipe works. Status helps. If the catch fails, leave without saving and rejoin — the same rule as legendary birds and the Regis. Do not experiment with a live save.
Demon’s Tomb — Cypress and Hoopa
Aborille Outpost leads to Demon’s Tomb. Eclipse has your parents and Tess at the foot of an arch. Cypress explains the brick was never going to be stolen cleanly; it was easier to let you carry it to the portal. Admin Tyler powers the structure. The necklace rips free and completes the ring. Cypress throws the Prison Bottle. Hoopa Unbound comes out.
The boss fight is a full team of fully evolved starters plus Mega Evolution. Levels sit near 80. This is not gym 3 Quentin. Bring the late party from team comps, not a box of unevolved HM slaves. After you win, the org collapses in a rush of cutscenes (including a rival twist you should let rivals explain). Hoopa is another one-chance catch. Same save rules.
Eclipse is also why you should not ignore story NPCs between gyms. The Red Orb, the jewels, the brick glow, and the Key Card are all gated behind talking to the right person in the right town. If a copy of the Roblox place went down mid-raid, check game status and Discord before you assume the drawer is empty. New players who have not even met Linda yet should start with getting started, pick from the starter guide, and beat Chad so Cut and codes exist. Badge rooms between raids sit on the gym walkthrough.
