Project Bronze Forever Sableye and Sablenite
Dark/Ghost wilds, the Sablenite pickup from the official how-to video, and Mega Evolution in battle.
Mega Sableye is a Dark/Ghost tank with Magic Bounce after it Mega Evolves. You need three pieces: a Sableye, the Mega Stone Sablenite, and the in-battle Mega button that Brick Bronze uses with a Mega Ring. This page follows the official how-to-get Mega Sableye video for the pickup. Watch that mid-article clip for the exact tiles. Do not invent a second cave from another Roblox game if the camera and the text ever disagree; the video is the pickup.
Sableye does not evolve by level. There is no trade, no stone, no happiness check like Eeveelutions. You catch it, you give it Sablenite to hold, you Mega Evolve once per battle.
Catch Sableye first
The official video starts after the fifth gym. Prince Ryan’s badge includes TM Rock Smash. Put Rock Smash on a party Pokemon, fly to Brimber City, and walk Route 5 all the way to the water pond. Beside that pond is a wall with a hidden path blocked by a smashable rock. Smash it, follow the hidden path to the end, and enter the grotto the video labels on screen.
Hunt Sableye in that grotto’s wild encounters. Dark/Ghost means Normal and Fighting do nothing, Psychic does nothing, and Ghost and Fairy hurt. Lead with something that can actually hit it, or use a ball immediately if the HP is already low. This is a repeatable wild, unlike Rotom or Victini. If it faints, find another. Dusk Balls are the obvious special ball in a cave.
If you cannot smash the rock, you do not have Rock Smash in the party or you have not beaten Ryan. Stay on the gyms list. The getting started route will not open this hidden path.
Sablenite pickup
Sablenite is a field Mega Stone, not a Stone Shop purchase. In the same grotto, the official video climbs cliff ramps to a Poke Ball item at the top. Walk into that ball to add Sablenite to the bag. Give it to Sableye as a held item. A Sableye without the stone will not Mega. A different species holding Sablenite will not Mega into Mega Sableye.
Follow the embedded video for the ramp line. This wiki will not rename that room after a fan cave title if the on-screen path is already in the clip. If a future patch moves the ball, believe the official video and event updates over a remembered tile.
Some Mega Stones are sold in Anthian Shopping District or the Colosseum BP shop. Sablenite is the field one. Do not spend BP on the wrong stone. Gengarite is a different page: Halloween Haunter and Gengar. Firium Z is a Z-Crystals pedestal, not a Mega Stone.
Mega Evolve in battle
Hold Sablenite, enter a wild or trainer battle, and use the Mega Evolution control the same way other Brick Bronze Megas work: Mega Ring / in-battle Mega button when the animation is offered. You Mega Evolve one Pokemon per battle. If the button is missing, Sableye is not holding Sablenite, you already Mega Evolved something else this fight, or the Ring is not unlocked on this file. Buy or claim the Ring through the game’s normal Mega tutorial, not through codes.
Mega Sableye keeps Dark/Ghost and gains Magic Bounce, which reflects many status moves. That is the point of the Mega: stall, bounce Thunder Wave, and chip. It is slow. It is not a sweeper like Mega Gengar. Check the tier list if you care about Colosseum speed. For story, Magic Bounce into status-happy trainers is enough.
Turn autosave off only if you are also hunting a one-chance legendary in the same session. Sableye itself can be recaught. The stone is a one-time field item on a file; do not toss it.
Dark/Ghost versus Chad, Zeek, and Captain B
Read the type chart and the gym leaders parties before you force Sableye into a badge fight.
Chad in Silvent is Electric. Dark/Ghost is not weak to Electric. You also cannot be here before his badge if you are playing in order, so this matchup is a rematch, a spin, or a boxed plan. Magic Bounce still hurts if he leads status. Electric STAB is neutral, not a KO type.
Quentin’s Water gym in Rosecove does not get a super-effective Water hit on Dark/Ghost. Water is neutral. Sableye will not sweep that badge, but it will not fold to Surf the way a Fire starter does. Bring a Grass or Electric partner from Rotom forms or Eeveelutions if you need the Float Badge quickly.
Zeek in Frostveil is Dark, not Ice. Dark/Ghost is immune to Fighting, which is the usual Dark weakness people pack, and it is not weak to Dark STAB. Fairy still benches it. Captain B.’s Ghost gym in Crescent is the better Mega Sableye showcase: Dark hits Ghost super-effectively, and Fighting remains useless against you. The gym-leaders page is the party list; this paragraph is the typing. Fairy is the panic button against Mega Sableye. Ghost hits it too.
Team Eclipse Dark and Poison lines often fail to break a Magic Bounce stall. That is a better use than forcing it into a Fairy gym.
What this Mega is for
Mega Sableye is a wall for Colosseum and for status-heavy story fights. It does not catch Volcanion for you and it does not open Aredia jewels for Victini. Take it to the Battle Colosseum after the Ring works. Keep Sablenite on Sableye; Trick and knock-off style moves in PvP can still ruin a held item depending on the battle format, so know the ruleset.
If the grotto hunt is dry, you are in the wrong grass or it is day-night gated in your copy. The official video shows the encounter working in that room. Match that room. Then Mega Evolve in any battle, including a Route 5 wild, to confirm the animation before you spend the Mega slot on a gym.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers trainers actually search for.
What type is Sableye in Project Bronze Forever?
Dark/Ghost before and after Mega Evolution. Immune to Normal, Fighting, and Psychic. Weak to Fairy and Ghost. Mega Sableye gains Magic Bounce.
Where is Sablenite?
A field Poke Ball in the grotto shown in the official how-to video (Route 5 from Brimber, Rock Smash by the pond, climb the ramps). Follow that clip for the pickup rather than a guessed cave name.
How do I Mega Evolve Sableye?
Give it Sablenite, enter a battle, and use the Mega Ring / in-battle Mega button as in Brick Bronze. One Mega per battle. The stone does nothing in the overworld.
Do I need Rock Smash?
Yes for the official video's hidden path off Route 5. Beat Prince Ryan for the TM, then keep a Rock Smash user in the party.
Is Mega Sableye good against the gyms?
It is a status wall, not a sweeper. Neutral into Chad's Electric. Strong into Captain B.'s Ghost gym. Versus Zeek's Dark gym it dodges Fighting; bench it if he leads Fairy.
