Project Bronze Forever Buginium, Icium, and Dragonium Z
Deep Jungle cliffs, the Frost Breath Unown door, and Water-Grass-Fire tiles before a Surf cove.
This page is the Ice, Bug, and Dragon companion to the Firium, Waterium, and Grassium hunt. Same yacht. Same Lost Islands. Same tent lady. Different jungle, different pedestals, one extra TM. Project Bronze Forever hides Buginium Z, Icium Z, and Dragonium Z in Lost Islands Deep Jungle. You pick them up. You do not catch them. You still save, because a disconnect in a Surf cove dumps you in the ocean.
Follow the official Ice/Bug/Dragon video embedded mid-article for the camera path. The text is the loop: Tropics ticket, pouch, Deep Jungle, Frost Breath door, Water-Grass-Fire tiles, click. Play the live copy from the official play page. Confirm the islands still exist on game status and Discord when a copy is re-uploaded. Progress is designed to persist; the pedestals still have to be on the map you joined.
Port Decca yacht, Tropics ticket, tent pouch
Go to Port Decca and talk to the boat captain on the yacht. If he will not sail, buy the Tropics ticket from the Port Decca shop for 1,000 Poke dollars. You only buy it once. Pack HM03 Surf, HM06 Rock Smash, and HM08 Rock Climb on party Pokemon. Those HMs unlock on the gym walkthrough: Rock Smash after Prince Ryan (gym 5, Crater), Rock Climb after Fissy (gym 6, Harvest), Surf after Zeek (gym 7, Contrast). Controls is the HM list if you forgot which badge gates which wall.
Land on the Lost Islands beach. Find the tents and talk to the woman there first. She gives the Z-Band so crystals work in battle and a pouch so pedestals will actually give you a crystal. If you already picked up Firium Z, Waterium Z, and Grassium Z, you already have the pouch. If you skipped her, Deep Jungle stands stay empty. Talk first, hunt second.
Codes do not give these crystals. Redeem them with how to redeem for cash if you still need the Tropics ticket. Expired strings are in the expired archive. This is not Volcanion, not Heatran, and not Ho-Oh. Those are Pokemon. These are bag items.
Buginium Z — Deep Jungle cliffs
From the start of Lost Islands Deep Jungle, take the path to the right. Go up the cliff ramp, around the cliffs, to the smashable rocks. Use Rock Smash. Continue to the Rock Climb wall. Climb. At the top, continue through the trees to another cliff ramp. The Buginium Z pedestal is at the top. Click it. The crystal goes in the pouch.
If the rocks will not smash, you lack HM06 or the Crater Badge. If the wall will not climb, you lack HM08 or the Harvest Badge. If the pedestal does nothing, you skipped the tent lady. Watch the mid-article video if the right-hand ramp is hard to see on mobile.
Buginium Z upgrades a Bug move into a Z-Move. Pair it with a Bug STAB you actually have. It is not a catchable Bug legendary.
Icium Z — Frost Breath and the Unown door
Icium Z is behind an Unown door in a Deep Jungle cavern. You need an Ice-type in the party that knows TM79 Frost Breath. If you do not have the TM, fly to Frostveil City and take Route 16. The TM sits halfway down the route at the back of Freezing Fissure. Teach Frost Breath to an Ice-type before you sail back. A Water-type with no Ice move will stare at the door.
Find the Unown door in Deep Jungle. The text reads “A breath of cold air shall open the gate to this lair.” Use Frost Breath. The door freezes, shatters, and the game calls “A critical hit!” Enter the cave and walk to the back. The Icium Z pedestal is there. Click it.
If Frost Breath does nothing, you used the wrong move, the wrong type, or you are on the wrong wall. The video is the door. Do not smash it with Rock Smash and do not Surf it. This is not the Regis colored-button puzzle and not Victini jewels.
Icium Z upgrades an Ice move. Frostveil’s gym is Dark, not Ice — Zeek does not care about Icium Z as a gym answer. Save it for Dragon and Ground cores later. Check the type chart.
Dragonium Z — Water, Grass, Fire, then Surf
Dragonium Z is the tile puzzle. Return to the start of Deep Jungle. You must step on the Water, Grass, and Fire tiles in that exact order. Wrong order does not open the sea gate.
Water tile: take the right path, continue, take the left path up, go past the stone door, and step on the Water stone behind the tree.
Grass tile: start the jungle again, go up the cliff ramp, through the Rock Smash rocks, down the cliff path, up the Rock Climb at the end, then left through the trees. The Grass stone is in the back.
Fire tile: start the jungle again, take the left path all the way down, and step on the Fire stone behind the big rock.
After Water, then Grass, then Fire, a gate in the water opens. Go back toward the water and Surf through that gate into the cove. Surf to the end of the cave. The Dragonium Z pedestal is there. Click it. You need Surf, Rock Smash, and Rock Climb for this crystal. If Surf is boxed, you will stare at the gate.
If the gate stays shut, you stepped on Fire first or skipped Grass. Reset the order from the jungle start. The official video is the camera if a stone is behind a tree you walked past.
Using Z-Moves once per battle
Hold or assign the crystal on a Pokemon that can use that type, then trigger the Z-Move in battle with the Z-Band. Buginium Z upgrades Bug. Icium Z upgrades Ice. Dragonium Z upgrades Dragon. A Normal-type Eevee cannot fire Subzero Slammer without an Ice move and Icium Z. Match type to move. The type chart still applies to the Z-Move’s type.
One Z-Move per Pokemon per battle is the usual Brick Bronze rule. Pick the turn. These three crystals are coverage buttons, not a replacement for Mega Stones such as Sablenite. You can carry both systems. Eeveelutions pair Glaceon with Icium Z; they do not pair with Buginium Z unless you taught a Bug move, which you did not.
Legendary birds and Rotom do not require Z-Moves to start their fights. Use crystals in those battles after the pouch exists. Team Eclipse does not drop Icium Z. The tier list will treat these as once-per-battle type bombs you earned in Deep Jungle, not as catchable species.
Finish Getting Started and the eight gyms before you expect this yacht to matter. Watch event updates if a new crystal type is announced. Until then, the only Ice, Bug, and Dragon stands this revival documents are the three in this jungle.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers trainers actually search for.
Do I need the tent pouch again for these crystals?
Yes if you never talked to the Lost Islands tent lady. She gives the Z-Band and pouch. Pedestals stay empty without it. Same rule as the Fire, Water, and Grass crystals.
Where is TM79 Frost Breath for Icium Z?
Fly to Frostveil City and take Route 16. The TM is halfway down the route at the back of Freezing Fissure. Teach it to an Ice-type, then use it on the Unown door.
What order do the Dragonium Z tiles use?
Water, then Grass, then Fire. After that, Surf through the opened sea gate to the cove pedestal. Rock Smash and Rock Climb are also required.
Do codes give Icium Z, Buginium Z, or Dragonium Z?
No. Redeem codes for other rewards. These three crystals come from Deep Jungle pedestals after the Tropics sail.
How often can I use a Z-Move?
Once per Pokemon per battle, and only if the Pokemon has a move of that type. Check the type chart for the Z-Move's type.
